It’s not all about men, women fight too. They bring class and sass to World Wrestling Entertainment and diversify high impact sports. Female participation in wrestling did not begin until around the 1940s and was not accepted warmly until the 2000s. Women grapplers have made a bold statement and progressed through the eye of ruthless scrutiny.

     This Sunday rivalry Raw and SmackDown athletes with clash at Survivor Series.

Tonight, Raw is held in Atlanta, Georgia. The Women’s Survivor Series Raw team will include Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Tamina, Asuka and another unknown member. Dana Brooke, Bayley and Mickie James battled it out in the ring to determine the fifth member of team Raw at Survivor Series.

     James started off the fight with kicks and slams to Brooke and Bayley. James slammed Bayley in to the corner of the ring and hit her with a needle-like elbow. Wincing in pain, Bayley tumbled out of the ring. After taking a moment to catch her breath, Bayley landed suplexes to both opponents and used the middle ring ropes as a weapon to bounce Brooke, inflicting her with a wicked case of whiplash. Bayley and James climbed to the top rope and exchanged blows. Bayley crashed to the mat. James leaped from the ropes and landed a frog splash knocking the air out of Bayley. James delivered three elbow shots to Brooke and booted her in the gut. James rolled Bayley into a two-count but Bayley kicked out. Bayley performed her signature Bailey to Belly slam on James and won the match to complete the Raw Women’s Survivor Series team.

     This Sunday Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Asuka and Bayley will face the SmackDown women’s team: Carmella, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Naomi and Tamina.

Later in the week, the women of SmackDown were locked and loaded to compete in Charlotte, North Carolina, just five days away from Survivor Series. Charlotte Flair went head to head with the current SmackDown Diva's champion Natalya Heart. Flair began the match with an early cover but Heart quickly kicked out and attacked Flair with raining fists. Flair slammed Heart into the barricade outside of the ring. Heart used a painful submission to strain the back, knees and arms of Flair. A discus cloths line planted Flair on the canvas. Heart used a choke hold to weaken her opponent. Flair delivered a spear to Heart and attempted to twist her body into the figure four. Heart countered the submission by kicking Flair, whose head bounced off of the turn buckle. Heart slapped Flair in the face. Flair suplexed Heart causing her to roll out of the ring. Flair kicked Heart square in the face, climbed onto the barricade and prepared to crush Heart with a vicious landing. Heart caught Flair mid-jump and drove her into the steel ring post.

     Heart dragged Flair to the center of the ring and curled her into the Sharp Shooter. Flair screamed in pain and tried to crawl to the bottom rope to break the hold. Flair landed a boot to Heart's face and bent her into the figure eight submission. Heart tapped out to Flair. A new SmackDown Women's Champion reigns.
